*These are education and training workshops (see Super Important note below)

The It’s Time ! workshops offered here are based on years of personal experience, combined with over a decade of clinical experience and education. My hopes is that these workshops help us all have meaningful lives filled with more joy and ease.

Likely you’re here because you work hard, try hard …and try harder still….and are tired of being tired, of life feeling chaotic and not knowing when you can rest…or what you can commit to…

I’d love to support you to try differently, to experience more delight this year and next, along with more joy and rest, connection –a meaningful life not just driven by deadlines.

The upcoming radial/circular calendar is specifically the result of my own real life re-learning about unconventional accommodations, doing things differently with ADHD and a unique learning /nervous system, during some of incredibly challenging years. All this was cross-pollinated with the demands of parenting later in life, separation ( and the scheduling….so much scheduling) and running my own business and one kiddo starting new middle school and the other starting a new grade school, and one flood and 3 moves. This process and tool became a life raft, and maybe I’d even call it a house boat at this point.

The unexpected outcome: this calendar and planning process helped me learn to plan for and anticipate joy (sometimes I’m still a bit surprised.

Honestly what surprised me most was I didn’t think it would be of interest to anyone else – I’m a unicorn, and I accept (and delight in that except when I accidentally poke others in the eye…it happens…)… except, when I’d share the way I used the circular / radial calendar with colleagues, clients and friends, it turned out that most were really curious or asked if they could attend a workshop. And when I ran the very first test workshop, the participants asked” So what’s next!” … well…here we are 🙂

What we (the first participants and I ) learned from this first round of workshops was the importance of a somatic (body-centred) planning practice, that is done in relationship with others. This both normalizes challenges, and offers motivation of body doubling, as well as mutual inspiration, and compassion.

I’m so looking forward to sharing this workshop again.

Who is it for?

This workshop is likely best for the neurodiverse, time challenged Unicorns among us– (Time-bender sub-type included ;)). You know who you are.

If you’re not sure but you’re curious about the workshop, join us- you’re probably curious for a reason.

Also, it’s likely a great fit if you haven’t found a longer term (monthly/annual/5 year) planning tool that works, stays active and that you don’t forget about. If you do have a tool that works for you, this may be a tool that is helpful for communication with your team or family members, especially if there is neurodiversity present in your team or multiple projects/actvities/plans on the go most months.

The workshops offered here via Grit and Joy site educational, professional development and training offerings. They are non-therapeutic offerings. In other words this is *not* therapy. I have to make this distinction because of other work that is therapeutic. The good news: this means I can offer these workshops to everyone regardless of location.
